Study Number:  27210  ENROLL      SINGLE STAY, NO RETURNS!

Participant Requirements:  Men and women, ages 18 and up, non-tobacco users for at least 6 months.  Women must be using an acceptable non-hormonal method of birth control from screening, throughout the trial and for at least 6 weeks after completion of the study.  Acceptable methods include abstinence, double barrier (condom with spermicide or diaphragm with spermicide), be postmenopausal or surgically sterile. BMI must be 18- 30.
What:  This study will be testing an investigational medication used for the treatment of anemia (iron deficiency) vs. a marketed version of the same drug, under fasted conditions.  This medication will be delivered through an infusion pump (5 min IV).
When:  This study will consist of 10 groups.  Each group will consist of a single stay of 4 days (Check in either Wednesday to Sunday or  Thursday to Monday).  Groups 1 & 2 are FULL.  Groups 3 & 4 stay 7/20 thru 7/24.  Groups 5 & 6 stay 7/21 thru 7/25.  Groups 7 & 8 stay 7/27 thru 7/31.  Groups 9 & 10 stay 7/28 thru 8/1.
Compensation:  $600.  Groups 1 &2 pay on Monday, July 25.  Groups 3 & 4 pay on Friday, July 29.  Groups 5 & 6 pay on Monday, August 1. Groups 7 & 8 pay on Friday, August 5.  Groups 9 & 10 pay on Monday, August 8.
Physical:  Groups 3 & 4 and Groups 5 & 6 on Monday, July 18.  Groups 7 & 8 on Tuesday, July 19.  Groups 9 & 10 on Wednesday, July 20.  All screenings will be at 3:00 p.m.
